No injuries reported in downtown Bemidji fire on St. Patrick’s Day

No one was injured in a downtown Bemidji fire on St. Patrick’s Day.

Bemidji Fire Chief Justin Sherwood says 27 firefighters were at the apartment fire above Brigid’s Pub and Two Hearts dress boutique for about six hours.

The fire, which caused extensive damage to the apartment and its contents, appears to be an accident.

The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office, Bemidji Police Department, Bemidji Ambulance, Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office and Ottertail Power assisted at the scene.
