No injuries were reported in an apartment fire in Wilton Monday.
The Bemidji Fire Department says the second-story apartment fire on the 200 block of Spirit Avenue was quickly extinguished thanks to the timely response.
Twenty-two firefighters were on the scene for about one hour with eight pieces of equipment.
Adjacent apartments were minorly smoke-damaged.
The fire remains under investigation but appears to be an accident.
The Bemidji Fire Department was assisted by the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office, Bemidji Ambulance Service, Minnesota State Patrol and the Ottertail Power Company.
