NTC students impacted by COVID to receive more financial aid

Northwest Technical College students impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic will receive a third round of financial aid.

According to a release, the American Rescue Plan funding appropriated more than $164 million to the Minnesota State system in May, with more than $692,000 appropriated to NTC.

The NTC Student Senate leadership chose to split the remaining ARP dollars between the fall and spring semesters using a 60/40 ratio.

Students can expect to see the funds distributed automatically, by mail or deposit into their student accounts, next week.
