FRAZEE– The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Becker County.

According to a release from the Becker County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement responded to a welfare check of a possible suicidal male north of Frazee, who may have attempted a drug overdose.

He was airlifted to a Fargo Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

One deputy was injured in the incident, treated at the Detroit Lakes hospital and released.
