Ogema woman killed in Becker County crash

A 36-year-old Ogema woman was killed a single-vehicle crash in Becker County Saturday morning.

According to a release from the Becker County Sheriff’s Office, 36-year-old Jessica Hanks of Ogema was pronounced dead at the scene.

The preliminary crash investigation indicates Hanks was westbound on County Road 138 and did not stop at the intersection of County Highway 11.

The car then hit an embankment on the west side of 11, coming to rest in a field.

The crash remains under investigation.

The Audubon Fire Department and Audubon Rescue assisted at the scene.
