A 28-year-old man was charged with assault and property damage after an incident on Theater Lane near Bemidji Sunday morning.
Beltrami County Sheriff Jason Riggs said deputies responded to a call of a stabbing around 6:30 a.m., with the suspect reportedly chasing additional people and attempting to break out car windows.
Joshua Beaulieu was apprehended and remains in custody.
The stabbing victim was transported to Sanford’s ER with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
The Bemidji Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol and Bemidji Ambulance assisted at the scene.
