One injured in dog-related Hubbard County crash

One was injured in a dog-related crash in Hubbard County Sunday.

Sheriff Corey Aukes reports that 42-year-old Naomi Maki-Parks was westbound on County Road 14, and one of the three dogs riding with her was on her lap.

She was attempting to remove the dog from the driver’s seat when she collided with 44-year-old Leah Heegard of Menahga.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged, and Maki-Parks was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital for facial lacerations and a dislocated knee.
