Paul Bunyan Communications, the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe, Itasca County and the Itasca Economic Development Corporation will hold a “Day of Connections” event later this month.
The sign-up event for the Affordable Connectivity Program on Monday, June 26 will be at King Elementary in Deer River, with pickup locations in Spring Lake, Inger and Ball Club.
ACP helps lower the cost of broadband service for eligible households, with a discount of up to $30 per month for broadband for eligible households and up to $75 per month for qualifying households on Tribal lands.
The event will also feature job opportunities, education and social services, and Leech Lake Tribal IDs with the replacement fee waived for all attendees.
