A Detroit Lakes pedestrian was killed in a crash yesterday morning.
According to the state patrol, a semi truck was northbound on Highway 59 at Brandy Lake Road, and the pedestrian, 57-year-old James Gunthorpe of Detroit Lakes, was also in the northbound lane when he was struck by the semi before 6 a.m.
The semi occupants were uninjured, and Gunthorpe died at the scene.
