Perham couple killed in motorcycle crash

A Perham couple was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday evening in Becker County.

According to a release from the Becker County Sheriff’s Office, 50-year-old Leonard Holmer was southbound on County Road 39 when he collided with a van.

Roy Lattie, 57, White Earth, as the van was turning north onto 39 from Bass Lake Road as the two vehicles collided.

Holmer and his wife, 51-year-old Nancy Holmer, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Lattie was transported to Essentia St. Mary’s with undetermined injuries.   

Carsonville Fire and Rescue, Detroit Lakes Fire and the Minnesota State Patrol assisted at the scene.

Becker County will continue to investigate the incident.
