The State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Red Lake Tribal Police Department are investigating an arson case in Ponemah.
In a YouTube address, Red Lake Tribal Chairman Darrell Seki, Sr., said the pow wow grounds was set ablaze Tuesday night.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office said no further information will be released until the investigation is complete.
The summer’s pow wows at the grounds were suspended due to COVID-19 concerns.
