Ramsey woman injured in snowmobile crash

A Ramsey woman was seriously injured in a snowmobile crash north of Akeley this weekend.

According to a release from the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene Saturday afternoon around 3, and found 57-year-old Nancy Kotyk suffering from head and neck injuries.

Kotyk was traveling on the Steamboat Forest Road when she drove off a curve, went down an embankment and struck a tree.

She was airlifted to a Fargo hospital for treatment of her injuries.
