Red Lake’s election day is tomorrow, and in addition to selecting their respective district representatives for Red Lake, Redby, Ponemah and Little Rock, member voters will decide on a medical marijuana referendum.
The question on the ballot is “Shall the Tribal Council authorize the production, regulation and distribution of medical marijuana on the Red Lake Reservation?”
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, absentee voting is the preferred method, and the ballots must be received on or before 8 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20.
