Red Lake wildlife management area draft plan open for comment

The DNR is inviting public comment on a draft plan to the Red Lake Wildlife Management Area.

According to a release, this plan will guide the management of the hunting, fishing and wildlife-watching destination in northwestern Minnesota, such as the management of the unique forests and peatlands.

The in-person open house will be Tuesday, June 6 at the Big Bog Visitor Center in Waskish.

The draft plan is available for review on the DNR’s website.
