Reinbold enters not guilty pleas to wife’s murder

An Oklee man entered not guilty pleas to the murder of his wife.

Forty-five-year-old Eric Reinbold is accused of the stabbing death of Lissette Reinbold in early July and was on the run for nearly a month before he was arrested near his family’s property in Red Lake County.

Unconditional bail for Reinbold has stood at $10 million. Reinbold was wanted by the U.S. Marshal’s Office for violating the conditions of his parole, after his 2018 conviction of possessing pipe bombs.

Reinbold also has a history of domestic violence after a 2016 incident in which he pointed a handgun at his wife and children and rammed into his wife’s vehicle with his own vehicle. while children were inside the wife’s car.

Reinbold is charged with two counts of second-degree murder.
