Rides set to return for 77th Annual Bemidji Jaycees Water Carnival

The Bemidji Jaycees announced Thursday that Merriam’s Midway will return for this year’s Water Carnival.

“We are excited to announce that we will continue with the traditional events, such as the Fireworks and Medallion Hunt, and will be bringing back Merriam’s Midway and the Grand Parade,” said the Jaycees in a Facebook announcement.

Registration for the Grand Parade is due by June 28.

The 77th Annual Water Carnival will be held June 30 through July 5.

Last year, the Jaycees’ altered some of their traditional events to comply with COVID-19 guidelines.

The Water Carnival is the biggest event the Jaycees organize each year.
