Work began this morning around Sumac and Hazelwood Roads.
According to a release from the Beltrami County Highway Department, the road construction will include grading and aggregate base on County State Aid HIghway 57.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes to avoid delays and to always exercise caution around work zones.
