Sanford Bemidji administers first COVID-19 vaccines to senior living residents

Sanford Bemidji has started administering the COVID-19 vaccine to senior living residents.

According to a release, Yvonne “Vonnie” Sundberg was the first resident of the Sanford senior living campus to get vaccinated.

Vonnie has lived at Neilson Place for the last 10 years, and she and her neighbors were recently offered the vaccine.

Once Sanford Bemidji receives the go-ahead from the Minnesota Department of Health, the senior living campus hopes to begin offering the vaccine to residents within the assisted living communities in the near future.
