Sanford Bemidji, Bagley implement new visitor restrictions

Sanford Bemidji and Bagley has new visitor restrictions effective today.

According to a release, only one visitor will be allowed per patient for their entire hospital stay. Patients will need to choose one person who will be allowed to visit as often as needed during the stay during established visitor hours.

Visitors must always properly wear a surgical mask that covers their nose and mouth, and cloth masks will not be allowed.

Exceptions to the policy update include designated COVID-19 units, where no visitors are allowed.

Pediatric hospital patients will be allowed two parent orguardian visitors per stay, and end of life patient visitors will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
