The Bemidji School Board will meet for a special work session this week.
Superintendent Tim Lutz says the board will discuss possible changes to the high school’s block schedule during a work session Wednesday, which will not be televised or livestreamed.
The block schedule adjustment was discussed earlier this year as a possible cost-saving measure, but after outcry from the public, that measure was not taken at that time.
After another failed operating referendum this November, the district is still facing numerous fiscal challenges.
No formal action is expected on this topic before the end of this year.
