The Beltrami County Board of Commissioners approved a search firm as the process to find a new county administrator continues.
Current administrator Kay Mack announced earlier this year her plans to retire, and gave the board six months to find a replacement.
The search, Mack says, will be nationwide but will likely focus on the Midwest to ensure the applicants will have an appreciation for living in this area.
