Search underway for Bemidji man missing since Monday

A Bemidji man has been reported missing since Monday night after making self-harm statements.

\According to a release from the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office, 50-year-old Nathan Pochardt failed to arrive at a family gathering after reportedly stating intentions to harm himself and is believed to be driving a maroon 2005 GMC Sierra.

The vehicle is a four-door pickup with Minnesota License Plate number 387-WHU.

The Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota BCA have investigated the incident since it was reported and have conducted electronic and physical searches of the area where his cellular device last pinged.
