Security Bank CEO named Northwoods Battered Women’s Shelter’s capital campaign chair

Tiffany Baer Paine, president and CEO of Security Bank USA, has been named campaign chair for the Northwoods Battered Women’s Shelter’s capital campaign to build a new facility.

Baer Paine, according to a release, will lead the volunteer team by strengthening relationships with business leaders and recruiting new donors and volunteers.

Allison Forte, who was named the new Executive Director of NBWS at the end of March 2020, says this new facility is critical in order to continue serving the victims of intimate partner violence in the Bemidji community and the surrounding area.

We are incredibly thankful to have Tiffany Baer Paine as our Campaign Chair. She is a tremendous supporter of our community and recognizes the need for a new facility that is better suited to the needs of those experiencing domestic violence. This new facility will be more visible to those living in the community, allow those staying at the shelter to live more autonomously, and completely transform the way we provide services. We thank Tiffany for being a part of making this dream a reality.”

NBWS was founded in 1978, and the current shelter facility opened in 1979. In 2019, the NBWS served 1,051 individuals, provided 3,988 nights of shelter, and helped 648 victims with relocation assistance.
