Semi goes through building after crash in Shooks

A Canadian man was injured after the semi truck he was driving went through a building in Shooks Tuesday evening.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 64-year-old Russell Jolly of Winnipeg was southbound on Highway 72 in a Peterbuilt Semi when he failed to stop at the Highway 1 intersection, leaving the road and going through the building.

Jolly was treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.

The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office, Blackduck Police Department and Ambulance, and Kelliher First Responders assisted at the scene.
