The Minnesota Department of Health is reporting 1,367 new COVID-19 cases today and three new deaths, bringing the state’s case total to 545,404 and the death toll to 6,962.
None of today’s reported deaths were among residents of nursing homes or assisted living facilites. There have been 4,319 deaths in these types of facilities.
Today’s data comes after around 14,000 tests were completed yesterday. Over 3.8 million have been tested for COVID-19 with 8.6 million tests completed.
More than 520,000 of the state’s COVID patients no longer need isolation.
MDH is reporting five new COVID-19 cases in Beltrami County today, 13 new cases in Cass County, three new cases in Clearwater County and three new cases in Hubbard County.
Since the pandemic began, Beltrami County has had 3,675 cases and 57 deaths, Cass County has had 2,450 cases and 26 deaths, Clearwater County has had 759 cases and 14 deaths, and Hubbard County has had 1,688 cases and 41 deaths.
