Situation Update for Tuesday, May 11

The Minnesota Department of Health is reporting 583 new COVID-19 cases today and nine new deaths across the state.

In total, there have been 589,527 COVID infections and 7,240 deaths.

Today’s data comes after around 11,000 tests were completed yesterday.

More than 4.1 million have been tested for COVID-19 with 9.5 million tests completed.

As of today, more than 571,000 of the state’s COVID patients no longer need isolation.

MDH is reporting 12 new COVID-19 cases in Beltrami County today, three new cases in Cass County, one new case in Clearwater County, and two new cases in Hubbard County.

Since the pandemic began, Beltrami County has had 3,924 cases and 58 deaths, Cass County has had 2,696 cases and 28 deaths, Clearwater County has had 864 cases and 16 deaths, and Hubbard County has had 1,871 cases and 41 deaths.
