Situation Update for Wednesday, Feb. 10

The Minnesota Department of Health is reporting 677 new COVID-19 infections today and 11 new COVID deaths, bringing the state’s case total to 469,905 and the death toll to 6,319.

Of all deaths, 3,983 were residents of long-term care or assisted living facilities. Of all cases, 37,060 were health care workers.

Today’s data comes after over 20,000 tests were completed yesterday. Over 3.327 million Minnesotans have been tested for COVID-19, with 6.828 million tests completed.

MDH is reporting three new COVID-19 cases in Beltrami County today, one new case in Cass County, and six new cases in Hubbard County.

Since the pandemic began, Beltrami County has had 3,256 COVID-19 cases and 48 deaths, Cass County has had 2,137 cases and 24 deaths, Clearwater County has had 698 cases and 14 deaths, and Hubbard County has had 1,567 cases and 39 deaths.
