The Minnesota Department of Health reported 513 new cases of COVID-19 today, and seven new COVID-related deaths, bringing the state’s totals to 85,813 cases and 1,933 deaths.
Of those deaths, 1,402 were residents of long-term care or assisted living facilities. Of those cases, 9,303 were health care workers.
Over 1.743 million tests have been completed so far, with 1.252 million people tested. About 9,900 tests were completed yesterday.
To date, 79,583 COVID patients have been released from isolation.
ICU hospitalizations for COVID-19 have increased today, from 131 to 136, with 108 others hospitalized in non-critical settings.
MDH reported three new cases in Hubbard County today, bringing their total to 59 cases, and five new cases in Itasca County, bringing their total to 254 with 13 deaths.
