SOS update for early absentee voting

New data showing the number of sent and accepted absentee and mail-in ballots are now available at mnvotes.gov.

The Secretary of State’s Office will provide weekly updates to this data throughout the 2022 voting season.

As of Sept. 29, local election officials across the state had sent out 286,324 absentee and mail-in ballots to registered voters.

Of these, 11,380 have been accepted.

Ballots must be received by Election Day on Nov. 8 to be counted.

All eligible voters can choose to vote using an absentee ballot by mail or at a local election office without needing to provide an excuse.
