The DNR says Spring turkey hunting season begins tomorrow, and stream trout fishing begins Saturday.
Firearms hunters 18 and older must choose their turkey hunting period for the season that ends May 31, with archery and bow hunters permitted to hunt the entire season, as are hunters 17 and younger.
Trout anglers can find information on streams and lakes with tips specific to each of the six trout fishing regions on the DNR’s website.
Minnesota has roughly 3,800 miles of designated trout streams. The trout stamp validation on fishing licenses is required to fish on these waters.
