BEMIDJI- Bemidji State University’s Students for the Environment is hosting a global climate strike on Friday at noon. They will be meeting in front of the A.C. Clark library on campus, and will be marching to Paul Bunyan Park.
Anna Haynes, a member of the Students for the Environment, gave a powerful statement as to why they are hosting this protest.
Citizens Climate Lobby will be in attendance to talk about what’s being done on a national level to combat climate change as well. These strikes have been going on across the globe, and BSU will be taking their stand in the fight for climate change.
