STUFF A TRUCK For The Bemidji Community Food Shelf Returns To Schools & Community

The 29th Annual Stuff A Truck Food Drive is underway. Sponsored by Marketplace Foods, Paul Bunyan Broadcasting & BemidjiNow.com, The Bemidji Pioneer and Bemidji Area Schools, the event is designed to fill the shelves of The Bemidji Community Food Shelf during the holiday season, which is generally a time of great demand.

You will have the opportunity to donate either food items or cash Friday and Saturday, November 20th and 21st at Marketplace Foods. In the meantime, students at public and private schools throughout the Bemidji community are filling up boxes in their classrooms. The truck will go to each school Wednesday and Thursday, the 18th and 19th, before pulling up at Marketplace Foods for the remaining two days of the event.

As always, several students helped spread the word by being the “voices” of Stuff A Truck on the stations of Paul Bunyan Broadcasting. This year’s stars were Beckett, Blake, Chloe, Lainey, Soren and Lilly from Gene Dillon Elementary.

Follow their lead and do your part during Stuff A Truck November 20th and 21st at Marketplace Foods.
