DETROIT LAKES– Becker County authorities say a man is under arrest in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left an ATV rider dead.
Deputies say 36-year-old Aaron Pelham of Waubun was arrested Monday night and charges are pending.
Twenty-seven-year-old Michael Tibbetts of Ogema was killed last week in a collision with a 1999 Mercury Marquis that fled the scene.
Officers allege that Pelham was driving the suspect vehicle.
Tibbetts, according to reports, was a recent college graduate and the son of interim White Earth chairman Eugene Tibbetts.
