Teenage pedestrian injured in Park Rapids

A teenage pedestrian was injured in a crash Friday in Park Rapids.

The state patrol says the 15-year-old girl was crossing Highway 71 at 5th Street when she was struck by a Chevy Blazer.

Roads were snowy and icy at the time of the crash, which was around 5:14 p.m. Friday.

The girl was taken to St. Joseph’s for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Chevy driver was not injured.
