PARK RAPIDS– The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office reports they arrested one man and two women yesterday morning after responding to the site of an anti-pipeline protest.

Deputies responded to private property 15 miles north of Park Rapids to 20 to 30 protesters on site, with some chained to logging equipment, hanging anti-pipeline banners.

According to a release from Sheriff Cory Aukes, the owner of the property advised the protesters to leave but three refused and remained chained to the equipment.
