The Cass County Sheriff’s Office made three arrests related to stolen property and drug possession.
According to a release, deputies pulled over a vehicle in Backus Saturday to investigate traffic violations, and after a search of the vehicle, located several stolen items including a gun from a nearby recent theft.
A search warrant was issued for a home in Backus, where additional stolen items, ammunition and drug paraphernalia were located.
Two were arrested after the search warrant, 50-year-old Joseph Frausto for drug possession and felon in possession of a firearm, and 21-year-old Jessica Ammerman for drug paraphernalia.
On Monday, another traffic stop in Pine River led to the arrest of 30-year-old Jerry Frausto, who was booked on charges of receiving stolen property and felon in possession of a firearm.
