The Becker County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation took approximately one month to complete.

According to a release, a traffic stop was made in Detroit Lakes last week and with assistance from a Becker K9 Unit, law enforcement seized what they believe was 196 grams of heroin, two grams of cocaine, and over $6200 in cash.

Thirty-eight-year-old David Verner, 57-year-old Vincent Verner and 38-year-old Pamela Hillard-Sykes, all from Chicago, Illinois, were arrested and charged with first degree drug sales and possession of a controlled substance.
