Three injured, one seriously, in Cass County crash

Three were injured, one seriously, in a Cass County crash Tuesday afternoon during the snowfall.

According to a release from the Minnesota State Patrol, a Honda Accord lost control in the southbound lane of Highway 64 north of Motley, striking a northbound Ford F-250.

A third vehicle, a Ford Escape, was traveling also in the southbound lane and struck the Honda.

The Honda driver, 20-year-old Arne Kvaal of St. Cloud, was transported for treatment of life-threatening injuries at Centracare St. Cloud.

The Escape driver, 49-year-old David Erickson of Sartell, was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Lakewood Health System, and the F250 driver was transported to Centracare for treatment of injuries.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, and all were wearing their seat belts.
