Town hall meeting Thursday on Beltrami Jail project

The Beltrami County Board of Commissioners will hold another Town Hall meeting on the Jail Project. Comments will be accepted throughout the end of this month with public input gladly accepted on this multi-million-dollar project.

The board will decide next month which of the seven options presented by Justice Planners is the most viable for the future of corrections in Beltrami County.

The full report, plus additional presentations, is available on the county’s project web portal.

The town hall meeting this week is Thursday at 5 p.m. in the county board room.

Additional comments will be accepted at the next board meeting on Oct. 18.

The town halls are available to attend virtually or in person, online attendees will need to contact Diane Moe for a meeting invite.
