Two arrested after Cass Lake bust

Two were arrested after an investigation with multiple agencies including the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department, Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota BCA and Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force.

Last Wednesday, Aug. 24, law enforcement executed a search warrant on the 6500 block of 156th St. NW in Cass Lake.

Law enforcement seized a reported 332 grams of methamphetamine, 280 grams of fentanyl, a user’s amount of cocaine, U.S. currency believed to be drug proceeds, and five illegal firearms.

Milton Budreau III and Alaina Wind were booked into the Cass County Jail.

Budreau is facing first-degree drug and ineligible firearm charges and Wind is facing fifth-degree drug charges.
