Two crashes yesterday result in injury, more than 100 crashes reported across state

More than 150 crashes were reported across the state yesterday after the snowfall, and two in this area resulted in injury.

A 37-year-old Onamia woman was injured in a crash on Highway 2 in Pike Bay Township. She was struck by a Chevy Avalanche attempting to cross Highway 2.

The 32-year-old Chevy driver, from Bemidji, was not injured. The Onamia woman was treated for her non-life-threatening injuries at Sanford Bemidji.

A 62-year-old Mahnomen man lost control of a Ford F350 on Highway 200 in Clearwater County and rolled into the ditch. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Sanford Bagley.

In addition to the 157 crashes reported across the state yesterday morning, the state patrol says another 97 vehicles spun out or went off the road.
