Two are in custody after fleeing police in a stolen vehicle.
According to the Bemidji Police Department, officers responded Friday afternoon to the downtown area and learned a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan was taken around noon.
The minivan was found heading east on Highway 2.
After pursuing the van through Hubbard county roads, the suspects were apprehended and taken into custody.
The Bemidji Police Department reminds the public to secure their vehicles at all times and to remove valuables as well as park in safe locations.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Leech Lake Tribal Police Department assisted with this case.
