Three incumbents keep seats on Beltrami County Board

In the Beltrami County Board of Commissioners contests, with 100 percent of precincts reporting, incumbent Reed Olson appears to be ahead for the District 2 seat from challenger Joe Vene by about 400 votes, 2,247 to 1,881.

In the District 4 contest, Tim Sumner will keep his seat, gaining 2,588 votes compared to challenger Danny Anderson’s 1,270.

District 5 Commissioner Jim Lucachick will also keep his seat, earning 2,901 votes compared to challenger Mike Bredon’s 1,492.

Beltrami County Administrator Kay Mack said Auditor-Treasurer JoDee Treat was reviewing results on all races within the City of Bemidji. While absentee ballots were counted, at this time, they do not appear to be included on the Secretary of State’s unofficial election results. The Auditor-Treasurer’s Office updated the unofficial results by 1 p.m.
