Two indicted for child neglect following death of minor

Two people from Red Lake were indicted for child neglect following the death of a minor.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, 41-year-old Julius Fineday and 63-year-old Sharon Rosebear are accused of depriving a child of necessary food, clothing, shelter, health care and supervision from January 1 to December 25, 2022.

As alleged, the neglect caused the death of the child. Both defendants are charged with one count of felony child neglect.

The FBI and Red Lake Tribal Police Department conducted the investigation.
