Two injured in Bemidji area crash

Two were injured in a Saturday crash just south of Bemidji.

According to the report from the Minnesota State Patrol, a Jeep Renegade pulled out in front of a Ford Taurus near the Highway 2 ramp around 1:40 p.m.

The Taurus was southbound on Highway 71.

A 50-year-old passenger of the Jeep, Wendy Furman of Federal Dam, was transported to Sanford Bemidji for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, as was a passenger of the Taurus, 17-year-old Brayden Stang of Bemidji.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, and all were wearing their seatbelts.
