BEMIDJI– Two were injured in a three vehicle crash just north of Bemidji Friday night.

According to the state patrol, a Chevy Silverado was westbound on Lakewood Drive around 8:30 p.m., crossing southbound Highway 71, when it was struck by a GMC Sierra, heading south on 71.

The Chevy spun out and struck a Ford Pickup parked at a stop sign at Lakewood Drive.

The GMC driver, 34-year-old Stephen Simon of Laporte, and a passenger of the Silverado, 20-year-old Nikki Wilson of Bemidji, were treated for non-life threatening injuries at Sanford Bemidji.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor, and it’s not known if the Silverado occupants were wearing their seat belts.
