Two were injured in a crash near Nevis Thursday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Kia SUV, driven by 36-year-old Christina Mountjoy of Park Rapids, was westbound on Highway 34 when an eastbound GMC truck crossed the centerline and struck the Kia.
Mountjoy was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at St. Joseph’s Hospital, and the GMC driver, 22-year-old Tyler Kamrath of Nevis, was transported to Essentia Hospital in Fargo for his injuries.
The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, Nevis Fire, North Ambulance and Nevis First Responders assisted at the scene.
The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office temporarily closed a section of Highway 34 Thursday afternoon.
