Two injured in motorcycle crash

Two were injured in a motorcycle crash with a deer Sunday night.

The state patrol says 37-year-old Aaron Parks of Park Rapids was southbound on Highway 71 when he struck the deer four miles south of Menahga.

Parks and his 13-year-old passenger were treated for their non-life-threatening injuries at Tri-County Hospital in Wadena.

Both Parks and the 13-year-old were wearing helmets and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this crash.
