BEMIDJI– Two were injured in a Park Rapids crash yesterday afternoon.

According to a release from the state patrol, a Subaru, driven by 79-year-old Margaret Zieffler of Hackensack, was westbound on Hubbard County Road 107, stopped, then pulled out in front of an eastbound Chevy Silverado on Highway 34 around 4 p.m.

The Chevy was driven by 37-year-old Matthew Brandt of Park Rapids. A 10-year-old passenger of the Chevy was treated for non-life threatening injuries at North Memorial hospital, as was Zieffler.

All were wearing their seat belts and alcohol was not a factor in this crash.
