Two men arrested after bust in Polk County

Two men were arrested in Polk County after a search warrant found drugs in a home in Fertile last week.

According to a release from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, over 23 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana and almost $1500 in cash were seized last Tuesday, with the Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force leading the bust.

Thirty-one-year-old Matthew Beerman and 27-year-old Brandon Ambuehl were charged with first degree drug crimes.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is ongoing.
